I started learning and working full-time for potting in 1991 for my tremendous interest in Bonsai design. My teacher Cheng-Kung, Cheng helped solidify my foundation for my later ideals and juniper designs. I have a passion for the wild biosphere of junipers, and I’ve also won many awards in national exhibitions. As a casual chance in 2002, I entered the field of teacher Dong-Lian, Hsieh’s sculptures. Life and people are the main origin of all arts. Using the visible exterior and the invisible inside to blend into life, with reality of space, power and beauty of sculptures, and motion of interaction, will give a beautiful co-existence of both strength and softness. Blending this idea into Bonsai designs, we create different times and spaces for different audiences to interpret on their own. This is the level of what we, as Bonsai designers, are trying to be – you see a mountain out of it and it is, but it is also not. Along the path that I’ve walked, I tried to express in my works my experience of life, people, and arts in combination with my inside emotions. 邱忠誠 先生簡傳 1991年開始學習盆栽，全職從事盆栽工作，對於盆栽創作有濃厚的興趣。師承鄭誠恭老師奠定了往後的盆栽基礎，進而扎實打下盆栽理念。專研真柏創作，對於真柏的野地原始生態，有著獨特的情感及喜愛。多次榮獲國內展覽獎項。 2002年在偶然的機會，開始接觸雕塑界謝棟樑老師的雕塑領域。生活與人文是創作的最大藝術來源，利用有形的外在與無形的內在，融入生活、空間的虛實、雕塑的力與美動與靜的互動感，呈現出剛柔並濟的美感，引用在盆栽創作中，創造出另一種境界，讓創作者與欣賞者，在不同的時間與空間，有著不同的感觸與感受。這正是我們盆栽創作要呈現的質感與藝境，進而領悟出看山是山、看山不是山的情境。 一路走來，在創作與學習過程中，融入生活與體驗、人文與藝術，深入融會貫通 出一套屬於內心世界與情感創作，表現出作品中。
