President of Nature’s Way Nursery, Inc. established in 1973, specializing in dwarf conifers, Japanese maples, Japanese garden design and bonsai production. Taught and performed tap dancing, jazz, and ballet for over 30 years. Has lectured to clubs, schools and symposia throughout U.S., Canada and Europe since 1985. Teaches and lectures year round on bonsai and Japanese garden design. A member of the `brain trust` that put on the International Stone Appreciation Symposium in Hershey, PA, 2002 and 2004. Co-chairman ABS Symposium in Hershey, 1992. Master of Ceremonies, ABS, 1996. Co-chairman for Pennsylvania Nurserymen’s Assn. Conference, involving over 1200 attendees in four days. Past president and co-founder of Susquehanna Bonsai Club in 1982, boasting an active membership of over 100. Has travelled to Japan and China to study bonsai and import bonsai and related products. Member of over 15 bonsai, conifer and nursery organizations. Past member of the Board of Directors of American Bonsai Society. Member of Delaware Valley Study Group. Enjoys writing haiku. Enjoys the art of viewing stones. Has been guest of TV and radio shows for horticulture and bonsai. Involved with the art of bonsai since 1973, sharing experiences with many other bonsai enthusiasts.
