Email:budisulistyo(at)yahoo.com Born in Magelang on Febrary 25, 1952 Start doing bonsai in 1976. Joined the Indonesian Bonsai Society in 1982 and considered as one of the bonsai pioneers in Indonesia. Started teaching bonsai in 1984 Wrote a book called “Bonsai” in 1988 and has been printed for 15 times. The second book Estetika Bonsai Makna & Pembentukannya” in 1997 both published in Indonesian language. For almost ten years since 1985 taught bonsai in National Television. Invited to several countries; India, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Philippines, Australia and Puerto Rico to give demonstrations workshops and judging bonsai. The first person in Indonesia awarded by Nippon Bonsai Association for his work Eugenia uniflora in 1988 and in 2006 his work Tamarindus indica won the runner up price in the World Bonsai Contest.
