From the tender age of 10 years Enrico began to cultivate small plants in pots. His interest in bonsai quickly progressed and he began to work with many European and Japanese masters. One of his early success came in 1997 when he became the new regional talent.
1997 was an important year for Enrico, during this time attending an important Italian bonsai school noted for examining technique and refinement. Developing his skill and working on his own style Enrico was determined that quality and excellence would be the benchmark.
Enrico became the youngest Italian bonsai instructor and professional (IBS) In 2002 he founded the Progetto Futuro Bonsai School and within a couple of years became the 4th Italian bonsai school recognized by UBI (Italian bonsai Association).
Enrico began to get noticed on the international scene, winning important national and International prizes like Ben Oki International Design Award in 2003, 3 UBI Prizes (the most important prize in Italy) 2 Mention of Merit and he is invited to headline as a demonstrator in many Events.
ProgettoFuturo Bonsai Schoolwon the title of "School of the year 2007. Progetto Futuro Bonsai School is a driving force in the Italian bonsai scene and it counts more than 150 students throughout the Country
Enrico likes to work on every kind of material, in particular yamadori trees where he insists particularly on the technique and attention to detail.
