Co-founded Bonsai study Group of the Indo-Japanese Association in 1979. First book “Tropical Bonsai” authored in 1973 and teaching Bonsai and Saikei fir the last three decades. Co-author of Wonderworld of Tropical Bonsai in 1984 and Wonderworld of Bonsai and Saikei in 1993. Invited to the 1stworld Bonsai and Suiseki Convention held at Osaka in 1980as the sole- delegate from India. Member, Editorial Board- NICHIN BONSAI, since 1985. Widely travelled to Africa, USA. Japan, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Europe and UK. Bonsai teaching since 1975 across India and the tropics. Planned major Bonsai Events in India from 1981 onward till today. Underwent training under John Naka, Saburo Kata, Susumu Nakamura, Toshio Kawamoto and Chase Rosade. Manages marketing of Bonsai supplies and materials. Introduce innovative ceramic Bonsai container making in India. Busy schedules of workshops, demonstrations and tending to Bonsai and writing on allied horticultural subjects like gardening subjects in media and sharing knowledge with fellow Indians is a mission of life. Due recognition and many awards received on this account. Specializing in Saikei, complementary planting and Suihan Penjing.
