Luca Bragazzi Italy
Luca Bragazzi was born in 1978 in Bari, where he still lives. He began to farm bonsai in 1988, when he was ten years old, and from then he has taken part in many workshops with national and European instructors and Japanese masters. He has taken part in numerous local and national expositions, such as the National UBI exposition, Ginkgo Award, So-Saku Award, etc…, winning numerous prizes. He is president of the “Bonsai Zone Club”, one of the most important clubs in Puglia dedicated to the instruction of bonsai art. Since 2005 he has been an adviser of the Italian Bonsaist Union (UBI). Thanks to his studies, he is an expert of vegetable pathology; agronomic techniques applied to bonsai cultivations; and especially physiological problems deriving from set up surgeries, in which he is considered one of the best expert in Italy. His competence in the immense and complex field of cultivation makes him involved in the more important bonsai congresses that annually take part in Italy. He is author of many articles published in the most important national and international specialized magazines, and he is a collaborator for the national specialized magazine “Bonsai & News” and for the official UBI bulletin. Luca teaches in numerous clubs in Italy, specializing his instruction on bonsai cultivation. Luca Bragazzi is a national IBS instructor.
