Co-founder Bonsai Study Group of The Indo-Japanese Association in 1979. Teaching and sharing knowledge on bonsai for the past 27 years, across India and the tropics. Co-author of Wonderworld of Tropical Bonsai and Wonderworld of Bonsai and Saikei. More than 25,000 copies sold. Founder of Bonsai Friendship Federation of India, and Director of World Bonsai Friendship Federation since 1989. Regularly conducting workshops in India and travelled to Australia, China, Europe, Malaysia, Japan, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Singapore, U.K., U.S.A and Taiwan. Gave demonstrations in London, New York, Honolulu, Washington D.C. and Colombo. Contributed a number of features on Bonsai in periodicals and newspapers across the world. TV shows on bonsai featuring bonsai techniques have appeared on Indian television. JAL World Bonsai Contest 1999, 2000, 2005 and 2006 Certificate Holder Director of BCI since 2000. Sharing knowledge with my fellow countrymen is my sole aim. I operate a bonsai nursery and farm and have introduced many new varieties and species of plants into India. I am a Travelling Ambassador of Bonsai in India, and have given a number of demonstrations and conducted workshops for the last 27 years. Founder-Editor of Nichin Bonsai, a quarterly magazine since 1985.
