Sue Aziz Indonesia
Sue was born in Parakan, Central Java in 1936. She started doing bonsai in 1984 when she joined The Indonesian Bonsai Society. Since then she has been very active in collecting trees and training them into bonsai. As a woman she does not only small bonsai, but the big ones as well. She enjoyed much of the flowering and fruiting plants. She gave some demonstrations in several places in Indonesia including in Tangerang woman-jail and International woman’s club. She started her international debut by giving demonstration in the 2ndAsia Pacific Convention in Hong Kong. Later on she was invited in several places including India, Singapore and Philippines to demonstrate. In 1992 she started to collect and enjoy suiseki. She visited many countries to attend the convention of bonsai and suiseki like Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Malaysia. Singapore, Hawaii and China to observe and some times exhibited her suiseki. In 1999 she won a runner up grand price for her work “Ixora”. Recently she publish her book:” MADAME SOKA REVEALED My Journey in Life with Bonsai &Suiseki”, that sharing her 20 years experience in bonsai and suiseki in a luxury-full-color-hard-cover of 300 pages with 150 pictures.
