Tony Bebb Australia
Tony’s bonsai journey began at the age of 13 when he attended his first workshop with Tom Yamamoto. In 1984, having just turned 17 years of age, he started work at the family bonsai nursery in Brisbane, and his father started teaching him bonsai. He worked there for 16 years, learning about, and growing bonsai. He is a nationally recognised bonsai tutor and demonstrator, and is well respected for his ability, as well as his individualism and freedom of thought. Tony regularly travels to other Australian States conducting workshops and demonstrations. He has also demonstrated in New Zealand on two occasions, the last in 2007 when he was headliner at the New Zealand National Bonsai Convention. He now conducts private workshops for fellow enthusiasts. He is currently President of the Bonsai Society of Queensland.
