Lu Zhi-Wei China Lu Zhi-Wei was born on Dec, 24, 1948. His family has a bonsai background. He has specialized in the Lingnan bonsai art for 45 years and is a very skilled Lingnan bonsai artist. For Lu bonsai is based on “the natural texture of the tree” with “artistic exaggeration” and “the complete heart of the tree”. He summarizes many techniques of to transforms a tree’s defects. His creations have been champions in national exhibitions many times. He is one of the representatives of “contemporary” Lingnan bonsai. Lu Zhi-Wei has strived to develop a Chinese bonsai career for more than 40 years. He taught Chinese gardening and held classes in bonsai art for more than 10 sessions. In April, 1991 he gave demonstrations at the first international Chinese bonsai conference in Beijing and demonstrated “landscape forest of Lingnan bonsai” in the 2nd Asia Bonsai and Stone Convention in Hong Kong in April, 1993. He attended the Southeast Asia Multi-country Bonsai and Stone Exposition in Singapore in June, 2002 and served as the consultant and the judge. He has been invited to lecture and taught the theory and artistry of Lingnan bonsai throughout the country. He wrote about “the method of growing branches and cutting trunk in Lingnan” for Chinese Agriculture Encyclopedia. Lu Zhi-Wei is also editor of Chinese Lingnan Bonsai and Flower and Wood Bonsai Magazine. Lu is vice president of the Chinese Bonsai Artist Association, the vice president of Guangdong Province Bonsai Association, the director of the Flower, Bonsai and Stone Chapter of Chinese Garden Association, an expert of the Green Garden professional team and on the staff of Guangzhou City Literature and History Research Museum. He was honored “master of Chinese bonsai art” by the Chinese Bonsai Artist Association in October 1994. In May 2005, he was honored “master of Chinese bonsai art” by the city department of National Establishments Ministry and Chinese Scenic Garden Association. 陸志偉出身於盆景世家，從事嶺南盆景藝術專業四十五年。熟練掌握嶺南盆景的創作技藝，理論上提出盆景的創作應依據“自然樹理”加以“藝術渲染”及“胸有成樹”等創作原理，並總結出多種改造有缺陷樹坯的技法。其作品多次獲全國展覽金獎，是當代嶺南盆景的代表人物之一。 四十多年來為中國盆景事業的發展作出了不懈的努力，中國盆景藝術家協會主辦的歷屆全國盆景展覽均負責評比工作，並連續為協會舉辦的十多屆中國園藝與盆景藝術培訓班授課。1991年4月在北京舉辦的“中國首屆國際盆景會議”上作嶺南盆景的操作表演，1993年4月在香港舉辦的第二屆亞太地區盆景雅石會議上作“嶺南盆景之 拼林”示範表演，2002年6月參加在新加坡舉辦的東南亞多國盆景，賞石博覽會，任顧問及評委，並作盆景示範講座，應邀為全國各地的盆景培訓班講授嶺南盆景的理論及技藝。為《中國農業百科全書‧觀賞園藝卷》撰寫“嶺南蓄枝截干方法”倏目，擔任《中國嶺南盆景》常務編委，《花木盆景》雜誌社編委。 現任中國盆景藝術家協會副會長，廣東省盆景協會副會長，中國風景園林學會花卉盆景賞石分會理事，廣州市高級技師考評委員會園林綠化專業組專家，廣州市文史研究館館員。1994年10月被中國盆景藝術家協會授予“中國盆景藝術大師”榮譽稱號，2001年5月被國家建設部城建司、中國風景園林學會聯合授予“中國盆景藝術大師”榮譽稱號。 |
