Pisit Ariyaamornkul Thailand Pisit Ariyaamornkul is the Vice President of the Thailand Bonsai Association. The bonsai seen here is known as a “Krai” – a root over rock style using a different kind of ficus specie, known for its strong growth and often seen as a forestry tree. Pisit purchased this bonsai in Thailand in 1997 and redesigned it. He entered it into the annual Thailand Bonsai Association contest in 2003 held at the King Rama IX Royal Garden where it received first prize and a trophy from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The outstanding feature of the Krai is that with its 200- centimeter height, its roots attached to the rock tidily. It also has a beautiful trunk with perfectly balanced branch structure. The graceful trunk with its powerful upright form and evergreen leaves provide year-round interest, making the Krai particularly suited for bonsai. This bonsai is about 40 years old. 彼特(Pisit)是泰國盆栽協會(Thailand Bonsai Association)的副會長。本株盆栽名為“Krai”，其根部緊密的抓住岩石，是榕樹的品種之一。生命力強，適合做為叢林式盆栽。 彼特(Pisit)於1997年於購入此株盆栽，並將其重新塑型。2003年參加泰國盆栽協會於皇家花園(King Rama IX Royal Garden)展出的年度競賽中獲得總冠軍(Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn)。彼特(Pisit)這株盆栽高度為200公分，根部緊密的附著於石上，樹幹堅實，分枝達到完美的平衡。 優雅的樹幹向上呈現壯碩豐富的生命力，長綠的樹葉是榕樹令人喜愛的優點之一，本株盆栽樹齡約40年。 |
