Ang Shibui Bonsai Kai ay magdaraos ng kanilang taunang Bonsai Exhibition sa ika-14 at ika-15 ng Oktubre 2017, mula 10:00 hanggang 17:00. Ang lugar ay sa The Floreum, na matatagpuan sa loob ng Johannesburg Botanic Garden, sa pasukan ng Olifants Road, Emmarentia. LIBRE ang pagpasok!! Shibui Bonsai Kai will be holding their annual Bonsai Exhibition on the 14th and 15th  October 2017, from 10.00 to 17.00.  The venue will be The Floreum, situated in the grounds of the Johannesburg Botanic Garden, Olifants Road entrance, Emmarentia.  Admission is FREE!!

The Bonsai exhibit will be of interest to everybody from novice to expert, and we will have on display trees in all stages of training – from basic initial nursery stock, to heritage Bonsai which have been in training for upward of 30 years.  We will also be having educational displays, and will incorporate a traditional Japanese Tokonoma display.

BCI 2026 Convention — Cancelled & Postponed

Status: Cancelled & postponed — until further notice

Bonsai Clubs International has been formally notified by the host, the Malaysian Penjing Art Creation Society (MPACS), that the BCI 2026 International Convention in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia — originally scheduled for 19–23 June 2026 — has been cancelled and postponed until further notice due to unforeseen circumstances, including the ongoing global fuel crisis and the withdrawal of anticipated funding and financial support.

This is a postponement, not a retreat from our shared commitment. Revised dates and arrangements will be announced through official BCI channels once conditions allow and preparations are confirmed. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and continued support.
