The bonsai demonstrations, performed by bonsai artists from Malaysia and the guest headliners from China, Taiwan and Indone- sia, took place over two days and showed bonsai enthusiasts the process of creating beautiful bonsai.

to the international community and the country; Encourage the active involvement of city residents to improve the quality and culture of healthy living among all levels of society; Promote the programs and activities in a quality and continuous natural environ- ment by creating a pure, beautiful, and interesting at- mosphere; Cultivate a sense of beauty based on the conservation of nature; and Encourage the public to heed and respect the environment.
Orchid Competition
Participants in the orchid competition come from inside and outside the country. So far the program has received entries from a total of 23 countries to partici- pate in the orchid competition, including Malaysia. ere was an overwhelming response to this show that always attracts many fans of this ower, appreciated for its beauty all over the world.
Bonsai Exhibit and Demonstrations
With the largest number of trees ever, the show this year o ered a new feature called the Bonsai Walk; Art and Culture as a theme. e Bonsai Walk presented 272 trees of various species of bonsai in front of col- orful and vibrant backdrops. Bonsai species includ- ed Wrightia Religiosa, Juniperus, Ficus, and other miscellaneous species. The Bonsai exhibition was enthusiastically received by both bonsai collectors and visitors who appreciated the natural beauty and culture of Bonsai in this colorful and natural setting.
