Bonsai and Suiseki Exhibition, Catanzaro, Italy.
This stone was found in the 1990s on Mount Pu’
in Liguria, above Sestri Levante. It was collected
by my late friend Angelo Attina during a tanseki
(stone-collecting excursion).
To me, this stone evokes the concept of Go Shintai—a
dwelling place for the Kami (spirits).
