It’s the ‘wow’ thing that is so exciting about bon- sai itself, as opposed to the commonality of designs we’ve seen before. I know what an s-curve is; I know what a triangle is. I’ve seen those before. So that’s what this garden is to me, it’s an opportunity to have great events at every vista and as you visit upon them, you turn a corner and there’s another. That’s the excitement, that’s the surprise.
