The orangery of the huge garden is well lit up by day light, favorable for a bonsai show. There were about 80 specimens on a table top display, 46 conifers and 34 deciduous trees. In contrast to many other interna- tional bonsai exhibitions in Europe, there were only 20 imported trees from Asia, indicating there was a great variety of species indigenous to Europe. Native bonsai are easier to keep in good health because of their ad- aptation to our climate. Many visitors came mainly on Saturday and Sunday to see many fine bonsai.
