I have been practicing bonsai for more than fifty years. While not a founding member of the Badger Bonsai Society in Madison, Wisconsin I became a member shortly after its creation. Beginning in 1986 I served as the BBS president and produced the club newsletter. I have also served several terms on the BCI Board. Now retired, my professional career was as a geoscience instructor at Madison Area Technical College.
