As the International Coordinator, of The Indian Bonsai society, Sudhir Jadhav provides strategic leadership in organizing various events, exhibitions, workshops, learning programs and conventions.

As an authorized Teacher, he is actively involved in imparting education pertaining to the art of Bonsai to new students and inducting new members into the club.

Bonsai and Suiseki Journey:

Accomplishments 

• Set up a Bonsai Design Studio called Bonsai Euphoria at Karjat near Mumbai. The first demonstration was conducted by Bonsai Guru Peter Chan on January 7, 2023 at Bonsai Euphoria Studio
• As the Secretary of South Asia Bonsai Federation (SABF),  Sudhir Jadhav conducted and organized many national and international bonsai and suiseki events.
• Lead and Founder Faculty for Suiseki arm of The Digital Bonsai School, incorporated by the South Asia Bonsai Federation (SABF)
• Founder Faculty for bonsai arm of The Digital Bonsai School incorporated by the South Asia Bonsai Federation (SABF). This is the first online bonsai and Suiseki school for national and international participants.
• Completed Basic Bonsai Course conducted by The Indian Bonsai Society, Mumbai, immediately after school in 1987.
• Completed Advance Bonsai Course and Diploma in Landscape from NASEOH under the guidance of Mrs. Sneh Prasar.
• Completed Advance Bonsai Teacher’s Training Programme conducted by Bonsai Study Group of Indo Japanese Association.
• Completed three-year residential Diploma Programme - Tropical Bonsai School conducted by Master Pedro Morales in the year 2018.
• Member of Bonsai Club International (BCI) for many years.

Publications

• Conceptualized and Compiled the Book on Suiseki called “Shilakhand – The Art of Viewing Stone Appreciation”. This book was released by His Holiness Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji of Sri Avadhoota Datta Peetham, Myusurs India, at his 80th Birthday Celebration Program.
• The Viewing Stone Appreciation of North America (VSANA), the premier Suiseki organization by Mr. Thomas S. Elias and Ms. Hiromi Nakaoji, published my suiseki stone along with a write up about the stone in the September 2022 edition of VSANA. • Was instrumental in assisting VSANA to host pictures of the Indian suiseki at their website in the International Viewing Stone Gallery. This is the first time the Indian suiseki are featured in the International Stone Gallery at VSANA. https://www.vsana.org/india

International Bonsai Demonstration

• Conducted a bonsai demonstration at Manila, Philippines in the Flora Filipina Expo 2019 and Suiseki Festival, held during February 24 to 26, 2019.
• Was a Judge for suiseki displayed during the same expo. Assisted Master Budi Sulistyo in the process of suiseki judgement.
• National Level Bonsai Demonstration
• Conducted a bonsai demonstration during the National Bonsai Convention at Trivandrum organized by the Kerala Bonsai Association from January 10 to 12, 2019. Was invited as one of the chief guests and Indian Master to conduct a demo along with many other international bonsai artists.
• Received special coaching from Bonsai Guru Peter Chan during Bonsai Wisdom in February 2014.
• Conducted a bonsai demonstration on December 7, 2018 for Jyotirmayi Bonsai Chapter, Kolkata, India.
• Conducted a bonsai demonstration on February 2, 2019 during the annual bonsai show hosted by Friends Bonsai Society – Hyderabad, India. Was invited as the guest of honour to attend the show.
• Conducted a Bonsai Demonstration on September 6, 2019 for Jyotirmayi Bonsai Chapter, Kolkata, India.
• Was a chief guest and Bonsai demonstrator at the annual bonsai and suiseki exhibition organized by Bonsai Club Bhopal, India. Also functioned as judge for bonsai and suiseki during the show. Delivered a lecture on the subject of suiseki during the show.

Assisted Master Zhao Qingquan from China and Master Tony Tickle from UK in two separate demonstrations during the All India Bonsai Convention and Exhibition organized by Vadodara Club in November 2015.

In October 2022 conducted a bonsai workshop for the members of India Friendship Bonsai Society, Mumbai

Awards and Recognitions:

On May 27, 2022, received the most prestigious “Sasya Bandhu Award for Bonsai Art Development” instituted by His Holiness Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji of Sri Avadhoota Datta Peetham, Myusurs India. This award was presented to me on the occasion of 80th Birthday Celebration of His Holiness Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji

Won four prestigious awards during the Tropical Bonsai School Graduation:

1. Tropical Bonsai School Award 2. International Award – Best Shohin
2. The Internet Viewer’s award 4. International Judges Award- Best Bunjingi

Won Two Annual Awards from The Indian Bonsai Society, Mumbai for significant contribution to the Club:

1. The Organizer of the Year Award 2. The Best Teacher of the Year Award

Won First prize in the talent competition held by the Bonsai Club Bhopal during their Silver Jubilee Celebration and Convention in October 2015. Also received a special prize from Master Pedro Morales as a Head of the Jury.

Won several awards at the exhibitions conducted by the local organizations.

Was actively involved in the team of organizers of Bonsai Wisdom conducted in the year February 2014 and Tropical Bonsai School 2016-18

Attended several national and international Bonsai workshops and conventions.

Instrumental in getting Best Display awards to the Club for last several years.

Conduct bonsai and Suiseki lectures for individual, students through online and offline platform.
