About the Tree

Ficus Hispida is a fast growing species of ficus family. Being deciduous it shades leaves and looks pretty when develops tender leaves. 35 years ago when I started practicing bonsai there were no nurseries in India where one can get matured pre bonsai material. I have trained this bonsai with just a small sapling, gifted from a friend. In a period of 35 years it developed as a presentable bonsai.
