Bernable Millares or Nabe as he is called by friends, started as a bonsai apprentice in 1997. Now he is a highly sought-after bonsai artist by collectors and enthusiasts.
Nobe’s style transcends from traditional to freestyle, as he maneuvers the best presentation style for a tree. His works are amongst the award-winning bonsai collections in national and international shows. Proof of which is the award-winning “Pacman”, a Pemphis Acidula bonsai owned by Dr. Alfred Manarang.
Nobe is one of the “Silent Masters” as his name is very seldom mentioned in Bonsai shows. He was awarded as one of the top 5 artists by the Bonsai Institute of the Philippines (BIP).
